Study at IUGA

IUGA welcomes students from foreign and partner universities through numerous exchange programs.


  1. The student must first confirm  that there is a formal partnership between IUGA or UGA and his/her University.
  2. Be selected and nominated by your university (email or for more information)
  3. IUGA or UGA verifies and accepts the application. You will then receive by email the link to the UGA online application. You will receive confirmation of the definitive acceptance of your application by UGA services.
  4. Your final administrative and academic registration will take place after your arrival. At that time, you will obtain your student card and your UGA login credentials (e.g. campus wifi access, student intranet).

Remember to bring:
  • 1 photo
  • Your identity card or passport
  • A civil liability certificate
  • A medical insurance certificate

Required documents depending on your situation:
  • For residents of European union countries concerned: the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) valid for the entire international mobility period.
  • For Quebec nationals: the RAMQ form N°SE 401Q106.
  • If neither of these situations apply to you,  you will have to join the french social security system when you register on campus and pay 217 €. Attention: payment only by credit card or cheque.
