Research at Cermosem

The Cermosem is an antenna of the social science laboratory Covenant.

A joint research unit (UMR) of the UGA and the CNRS, its Cermosem branch carries out numerous research projects on tourism, recreation, youth, mobility, agriculture, heritage, transitions.... Due to its history and geographical location, Cermosem mainly conducts its research on the territorial dynamics of rural areas around the Mediterranean but also questions these themes internationally (North and South America in particular), focusing its methodologies on action research and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. It is part of various international networks.
